Except as provided by law, action or discussion shall not be taken on any item
not appearing on the agenda. Supporting
documents, including staff reports, are available for review at City Hall in
the
City Clerk’s Office or on the City’s website at www.ci.los-alamitos.ca.us once the
agenda has been publicly posted.
Any written materials relating to an item on this
agenda submitted to the City Council after distribution of the agenda packet
are available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office, 3191 Katella
Ave., Los Alamitos CA 90720, during normal business hours. In addition, such writings or documents will
be made available for public review at the respective public meeting.
It is
the intention of the City of Los Alamitos to comply with the Americans with

B. Approval of the Revised Cooperative
Agreement No. C-9-0655 with Orange County Transportation Authority for Traffic
Management Services for the West County Connectors Project Attachment 1 (Public Works)
The Orange County Transportation
Authority (OCTA) has requested that the City of Los Alamitos enter into the
revised Cooperative Agreement No. C-9-0655 to fund costs incurred by the City
for traffic management-related services, and identify responsible parties for
any identified traffic mitigation required in conjunction with OCTA’s West
County Connectors Project.

9. DISCUSSION
ITEMS
The League of California Cities Annual
Conference will be held in San Diego, September 15-17, 2010. The League is requesting City council
designation of a Voting Delegate to the Annual Business Meeting.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City
Council,
1) Appoint
a Council Member to serve as the City’s Voting Delegate for the League of California Cities 2010 Annual Business Meeting; and,
2) If the
City Council desires, appoint a Council Member to serve as the City’s Alternate Voting Delegate in the
event of the Voting Delegate’s absence.
B. Consultant Presentation of SCAG
Compass Demonstration Project
Attachment 1 (Community Development)
Council will be provided a
presentation of Southern California Association of Government’s (SCAG) Compass
Demonstration Project for the City of Los Alamitos.
