NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Joint Special Meeting of the City Council and the Planning Commission is hereby called by the Mayor and the Chair, and will be held on MONDAY, February 1, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 3191 Katella Avenue, Los Alamitos.  The agenda is as follows:

At this time any individual in the audience may come forward to speak on any item within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council.  Please state if you wish to speak on an item on the Agenda.  Remarks are to be limited to not more than five minutes.  (PLEASE PRINT YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS ON THE ROSTER).

 

4.         SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY

           

            A.        Joint City Council Planning Commission Discussion Items

The City Council has invited the Planning Commission to attend a Joint Meeting to discuss Short-Term and Long-Term Priorities related to Land Use and Planning Issues.

 

                        Recommendation: 

 

1.         Review and Discuss; and

 

2.         Provide direction regarding process and priorities as the City Council deems appropriate.

 

5.         ADJOURNMENT               

The next meeting of the City Council is scheduled for MONDAY, February 1, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers.

 

The next meeting of the Planning Commission is scheduled for MONDAY, February 8, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers.
