Alamitos contracts with the City of Cypress for all recycling
needs.

recycle used motor oil, at no charge, at the following certified

Please call the above collection centers to verify hours of
operation and quantities of used oil accepted. For the location
of other used oil collection centers, statewide, please call the
California Integrated Waste Management Board Hotline at (800)
CLEAN UP. The City has a limited number of used oil containers
available at no charge. You may pick up a free container, as
long as supplies last, at the City Corporation Yard at 5285
Cypress Street or at City Hall, 5275 Orange Avenue.

holds two events per year at their Community Center which
are free. Residents can also drop
their e-waste off at any Goodwill Collection Center.
Hazardous waste
